Psalm 96 seems to fall into three parts. The first two parts (96:1–6 and 96:7–9) are calls for people to praise, and the third exhorts creation to praise Yahweh (96:11–13). Each section seems to conclude with an aphoristic statement of truth (96:6, 10, and 13).
